Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland is recruiting a fully funded PhD candidate for the Laboratory of Stem Cell Biology at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology.

Project: Mechanisms of Hematopoietic System Recovery and Restoration of Homeostasis after Stress.

This PhD opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in stem cell biology, hematopoiesis, regeneration, single-cell and spatial omics, epigenetics, clonal dynamics, bioinformatics, and machine learning. The project combines experimental and computational biology and includes work with single-cell RNA-seq and ATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics, lineage tracing, clonal tracking models, and bioinformatics/ML-based analyses.

Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a background in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related life sciences. Experience in molecular/cell biology techniques is required. Animal work and bioinformatics skills are considered strong advantages.

Funding: the position is funded for 48 months. No stipend amount is specified in the post.
