Fully funded PhD positions are available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

The positions are being recruited by Qianying Cao, who states that they will soon join RIT as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor. The research group will focus on two main directions: AI-aided material and structure co-design and analysis, and complex system dynamics and control.
