Funded MPhil research position in Muslim Friendly Tourism Index and mixed methods research in Malaysia.

This opportunity is for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) research student at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, supported by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS 2025). The project title is “A New Horizon of Muslim Friendly Tourism Index (MFTI): A Mixed Method Research for Scale Development in Malaysia.”

Funding: Monthly allowance of RM 2,300 for 24 months, plus access to university research facilities, laboratories, and publication support.

Eligibility: Malaysian citizens with a relevant bachelor’s degree and CGPA ≥ 3.50. Applicants should show strong interest in research and innovation, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and commitment to completing the programme on time.
