Highlighted projects include: Greening Community Pharmacy, supervised by Dr Kingston Rajiah, which investigates spatial and behavioural determinants of sustainable practices in community pharmacies, aiming to make healthcare more environmentally friendly. The second project, Development of F-gas free ultrasound contrast agents for diagnostic and therapeutic applications, supervised by Prof John Callan, focuses on creating and testing environmentally and patient-friendly drug-loaded microbubble formulations for pancreatic cancer, contributing to oncology research and pharmaceutical innovation.

Applicants should hold or expect to obtain a strong undergraduate degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biomedical sciences, or a related field. Interest or experience in sustainable healthcare, pharmaceutical technology, or oncology research is desirable. English language proficiency may be required for non-native speakers. These are funded positions, typically covering tuition fees and providing a stipend for living expenses.
