This PhD focusses on:
Understanding the genetic basis of fungal-fungal interactions in biocontrol fungi
Identifying signatures of genetic exchange between strains through genomic analyses
This would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate with interests in bioinformatics, microbiology or plant pathology.
This a Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship, funded directly by the University of Greenwich. This would include a stipend for the student at UKRI student rates as well as a waiver of home-student tuition fees for 3-years. International applicants are welcome, who would benefit from tuition fees being reduced by home-student rates. Applications close on the 10th March, with us looking to recruit a student to start as soon as possible.
Please feel free to share with any promising students that you may have had over recent years.
