I’m thrilled to announce that I have officially begun my new position as Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT-J), Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE)! My research will focus on utilizing datasets from advanced next-generation sequencing, spatial, and single-cell multiomics to explore the role of regulatory elements in the genome, particularly in understanding heterogeneity and cell plasticity in gynecological tissues.
I am seeking motivated students who are passionate about learning and excelling in research using advanced bioinformatics techniques. I will be recruiting Ph.D. students through the IIT-Jammu Ph.D. program ( https://lnkd.in/esN3y7nN ), postdoctoral fellows (I'm happy to assist with the application process), and project students. Funding details
