Participate in a PhD project aimed at refining the community's comprehensive understanding and advanced modelling capabilities in the field of ground-energy tunnel interactions.
Use the advanced tools offered by the digital revolution, in particular machine learning tools, to improve the design of these pioneering structures that aim to address one of the key challenges of the energy transition.
This could be an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and forward-thinking PhD student.

The PhD student will be welcomed by the geotechnical team of the Navier Laboratory and will be supervised by researchers of this team (Jean Sulem, Anh Minh TANG , Jean-Michel Pereira and myself) and engineers of TRACTEBEL ( Filippo Cuccagna , Michela Di Feo and Herminie Metzger ).

This work is part of the MISCEA programme coordinated by the Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées ( École nationale des ponts et chaussées , Institut Polytechnique de Paris , France).

Funding details
