Here is a perfect opportunity to work with people passionate about science - a new and exciting PhD position at Aarhus University!

New PhD position – Offshore geotechnics

Are you interested in offshore geotechnics and the design of innovative anchoring and mooring line systems for floating offshore wind turbines? Do you have a background in geotechnical and/or structural engineering? Then you could be our new PhD student. You will become a member of the GeotechnicalGroupAU and part of the project "A novel grouped anchor concept for floating offshore wind turbines" working with Lars Vabbersgaard Andersen
and Giuseppe Abbiati
. The project runs 2025–2028 at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University and is funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark.

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
