Hands-On Training Program on Wastewater Management at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore is a practical workshop focused on environmental science, wastewater management, water quality analysis, treatment methodologies, and data modeling/simulation.

The program is a joint initiative of IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation and IIT Indore, supported by the NCSTC division of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, along with INYAS and INSA. It is designed for participants who want real-world exposure to laboratory and field-based techniques in environmental management.

What participants will learn: advanced water analysis, hands-on use of instruments such as gas chromatography, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and total organic carbon analysers, wastewater treatment methodologies, software-based treatment simulation, and troubleshooting of high-end instruments.

Who can join: students, research scholars, industry professionals, and environmental enthusiasts from relevant disciplines.

Fees: Rs. 3,000 + 18% GST for students and research scholars; Rs. 5,000 + 18% GST for industry professionals. The fee includes instructional materials, tutorials, lab visits, and food.

Dates: 09–15 August 2026 at IIT Indore. Registration deadline: 20 June 2026.
