KAIST HAND Lab is recruiting an InnoCORE Postdoctoral Fellow to join research on human-augmented soft electronic/sensor systems, bio-signal processing, intelligent feedback systems using AI algorithms, and neuromorphic AI and intelligent memory devices.
The position is hosted by the Human-Augmented Nano Device (HAND) Lab at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), led by Prof. Keon Jae Lee. The lab is part of the KAIST InnoCORE Research Center (SMI-PAI: Sustainable Materials Innovation for Post-AI) and is described as a core group within a major ERC flagship research center.
Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a Ph.D. obtained within the last 5 years. Preferred backgrounds include Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. A strong publication record in top-tier journals (e.g., NPG, Science, or equivalent) is preferred. Candidates from top-tier universities in the US or Europe are also preferred. If the degree is not yet formally completed, an expected completion certificate may be submitted initially, but the official degree certificate is required before appointment.
Funding and conditions: the postdoc offers an annual salary of KRW 90,000,000 including statutory employer contributions. The start date is after May 1, 2026 and is flexible. The contract can run up to 4.5+ years, renewed annually based on performance. International conference attendance is supported upon request.
