The Larson Language and Cognition Lab is accepting applications for a funded PhD position at the University of Missouri through the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program or College of Health Sciences. Full tuition is covered along with a 12-month stipend (up to 5 years of study) and annual travel for meetings. The project aims to test bidirectional relationships between language and visual cognition in toddlers at risk for autism and developmental language disorder longitudinally. It is part of a large-scale international project that will provide an integrated account of language and shape representation across languages and cultures (European Research Council Synergy Grant: Shape Project).
