International Master’s Program in Archaeological Sciences (M.Sc.) at the University of Haifa University of Haifa in Canada

The University of Haifa is presenting the International Master’s Program in Archaeological Sciences, a two-year thesis-track M.Sc. taught in English.

This program is designed for students who want to study archaeology through a scientific lens, combining archaeological interpretation with chemistry, biology, geology, computer science, materials analysis, isotopes, and residue studies.

Training areas include zooarchaeology and ecology, geoarchaeology, archaeometallurgy, material analysis, stable isotopes in archaeology, organic residue analysis, and computational archaeology.

Students will gain hands-on experience with artifacts, ceramics, metals, bones, sediments, fieldwork, and advanced laboratory methods. The program is positioned for students interested in research, heritage work, and science-based career paths.

The University of Haifa offers a strong archaeological setting, with access to one of the richest archaeological landscapes in the world and opportunities to work across land, sea, and laboratory contexts.

Scholarships may be available for eligible students, but the post does not provide a fixed funding package or deadline.
