IIT Bhubaneswar is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Electrical Engineering under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PM-ECRG) scheme sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

Project title: Development of Low-Frequency Interaction Screening Tools for Inverter-Based Resource Dominant Power Systems (RP571).

This opportunity is strongly aligned with Electrical Engineering, especially Power Systems, Control Systems, Network Analysis, and computational tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, PSCAD, and PSS/E. The post is for 2 years as JRF and 1 year as SRF, and it may be converted to a PhD subject to institute norms and performance.

Eligibility: ME/MTech (or equivalent) in Power Systems or a relevant discipline with minimum 7.5 CGPA or 70%; or BE/BTech (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 8 CGPA or 75% and a valid GATE (EE) score. The age limit is 30 years, with relaxation as per government rules.

Funding: Consolidated fellowship of INR 37,000 per month + HRA @20%, depending on qualification and experience.
