PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an ANRF-CRG sponsored research project at the Sustainable Energy Technology Laboratory (SETL), Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The project is titled “Development of Compact Thermo-Electric Generator Integrated PEM Electrolyser for Onboard Hydrogen Production for Co-firing in Compression Ignition Engine: A Hybrid Approach”. The research sits at the intersection of green hydrogen production, PEM electrolyser development, thermoelectric generators (TEG), internal combustion engines, hydrogen energy systems, alternative fuels, sustainable mobility, and CFD/modelling/simulation.

The fellowship is ₹37,000 per month + 18% HRA. The post is aimed at candidates with a strong research interest in hydrogen technologies, thermal systems, renewable energy, and sustainable transportation. Eligibility requires B.E./B.Tech with M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines with First Class, and preference will be given to GATE/NET-qualified applicants.
