National Institute of Technology Warangal is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF-ARG scheme for the project “Deep Acoustic Shield: Towards distributed active noise mitigation in neonatal intensive care unit employing deep learning framework integrated with mobile platform.”
This opportunity is strongly aligned with Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering, especially for candidates interested in signal processing, deep learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, and acoustic noise mitigation in healthcare environments.
The project duration is three years or until project closure, whichever is earlier. The selected candidate is eligible for the PhD degree at NIT Warangal as per institute rules, but must apply separately for a PhD position when the advertisement opens.
Eligibility highlights: candidates should meet the stated academic thresholds for UG/PG or equivalent engineering degree routes. A background in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related areas is preferred. Knowledge of signal processing, advanced signal processing, AI, IoT, and machine learning is desirable, and experience with MATLAB and Python is preferred. The age limit is 30 years, with relaxation as per institute norms.
Funding: the fellowship/emoluments are Rs. 37,000 per month, with HRA/accommodation as per institute rules.
