AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is inviting applications for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Politics at its Doha, Qatar campus.

This role involves teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, contributing to research-informed teaching, and participating in academic programme development within a diverse international student environment.

Academic area: International Relations, Politics, and related social science teaching and research.

Eligibility: Candidates should preferably hold a PhD in International Relations and/or Politics, or a relevant postgraduate degree with substantial professional or academic experience. Prior university teaching experience is highly valued, and experience publishing in high-ranking journals is also preferred.

Location: Doha, Qatar.

Start date: 16 August 2026.
