International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore) is inviting applications for Master of Science by Research, PhD, and Integrated PhD admissions for the 2026–27 academic year.

The opportunity is especially relevant for students interested in wireless communications, 6G and beyond, signal processing, optimization, physical-layer security, intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS/RIS), spectrum sharing, MIMO, and machine learning for wireless communication systems.

Supervisor / lab: Dr. Priyanka Das, Assistant Professor at IIIT Bangalore, works in next-generation cellular mobile radio systems and advanced wireless communications. Her research interests include spectral and energy efficiency, physical-layer security, cooperative communications, antenna selection, relay selection, IRS for 6G, and related analytical and experimental work. Eligibility highlights: For the lab-specific opening, candidates with M.E./M.Tech. (ECE) or B.Tech. (ECE/EE) with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
