We are seeking motivated PhD candidates to join our research in Structural Materials & Impact Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
?? Topics include:
Material behavior under impact loading
Crashworthiness
Simulation of dynamic buckling and failure (FEA with LS-DYNA/ABAQUS)

Strong research skills in materials/mechanical/structural engineering
Experience with finite element analysis (e.g., ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, ANSYS) is highly desirable

Proficiency in academic writing and willingness to publish in indexed journals
Ability to work independently and as part of a research group
Good communication skills in English (oral and written)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, Civil, or related Engineering fields
