McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Scholars Leadership Certification (Summer 2026) is now open at McMaster University in Canada. This is a one-week, intensive, free leadership certification for postdoctoral scholars and postdocs working in Canada who want to strengthen their leadership capacity, reflect on their leadership style, and build practical skills for academic and professional impact.

The program is delivered by the McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Fellows Teaching & Leadership Program and is accredited by the Institute of Leadership. It combines synchronous and asynchronous learning over 30 hours and can be completed online via Zoom or in person at McMaster University (main campus, Hamilton, Ontario). The program emphasizes leadership styles and theories, emotional intelligence, reflective practice, impact statements, and connecting research to industry using entrepreneurial leadership approaches.
