The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire d'Orléans in France is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician specializing in Microbiology. The role involves performing direct examinations (cytology, Gram, MGG), handling various biological samples, conducting malaria research (PCR and microscopy), managing blood cultures and urines, manual and automated inoculation, equipment maintenance, quality control, and contributing to laboratory quality improvement.

The laboratory operates every day from 6:30 am to 10 pm, with technicians working approximately one weekend out of three. The position is a full-time fixed-term contract (initially 3 months, renewable for 6 months), with remuneration based on experience.
