About this position

The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS), in collaboration with the Youth Policy Center, is inviting applications for its Mentorship Program, designed for Master's students residing in Morocco who are passionate about policy-oriented research. This unique opportunity is open to students aged 22–25 currently enrolled in a Master's program in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields. The program aims to strengthen participants' analytical and policy-writing skills through direct engagement with PCNS Senior Fellows and Experts.

The Mentorship Program runs from March to June 2026 in a hybrid format, combining in-person events at PCNS headquarters in Rabat with online sessions. Selected mentees will benefit from personalized mentorship, structured workshops, and thematic sessions, all supporting the development of key research and policy competencies. Each participant will be guided in producing a policy brief, with the possibility of publication on the Youth Policy Center platform. A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the program.

Eligibility requirements include being aged 22–25, currently enrolled in a Master's program, residing in Morocco, and pursuing studies in relevant fields. Full commitment to the program schedule, including two in-person events and five mentorship meetings, is mandatory. The selection process will utilize AI-detection tools to ensure originality of submitted work. The application deadline is February 16, 2026, and only selected candidates will be contacted. For more information or inquiries, applicants can contact [email protected].

This program is ideal for students interested in policy research, international relations, political science, economics, and social sciences, offering a valuable platform for mentorship, skill development, and publication opportunities.
