Hiring at the Istituto di Neuroscienze, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Padova, Italy. Elisa Greotti is building a new lab and is collecting expressions of interest for Predoctoral Fellow, PhD Candidate, and Postdoctoral Researcher positions.

Research focus: The MitoSens project, funded by a 5-year FIS3 Starting Grant, will investigate how mitochondrial calcium signalling regulates quadripartite synapse function and neural network activity during sensory processing in mouse models.

Eligibility highlights: The Predoctoral Fellow role does not require a PhD and welcomes experience in neuroscience, imaging, mouse work, molecular biology, or data analysis. The PhD Candidate role seeks strong motivation, curiosity, and willingness to work with mouse models and functional imaging; prior experience in related areas is welcome. The Postdoctoral Researcher role requires documented experience in one or more of calcium imaging, mouse microsurgery, viral injections, in vivo imaging, mouse behaviour, quantitative imaging analysis, electrophysiology, and/or optogenetics.
