Part-Time Assistant Professor Positions in Linguistics/Psycholinguistics University of Toronto Scarborough in Canada

The University of Toronto Scarborough Department of Language Studies is hiring for two part-time Assistant Professor positions in Linguistics / Psycholinguistics (teaching stream). This is a one-year appointment at 67% time, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2026 or January 1, 2027.

The role is centered on undergraduate teaching in linguistics and related areas, with an emphasis on pedagogical excellence, teaching innovation, and teaching-related scholarly activity. Applicants should have a PhD in Linguistics or a closely related field by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter with a strong record of teaching excellence. The post especially welcomes candidates with experience in teaching linguistics or psycholinguistics and a strong commitment to pedagogical inquiry.
