PhD Admission in Cell Biology at National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), March 2026 National Centre for Cell Science in France

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune, is inviting applications for its Ph.D. program starting in March 2026. This opportunity is open to candidates interested in pursuing advanced research in various domains of cell biology, including biology, biotechnology, and microbiology. The program is designed for students with a strong background in science and a passion for life sciences research.

Eligibility criteria require applicants to hold a post-graduate degree in any branch of science, with at least 60% or equivalent grades. Candidates must also possess a valid JRF fellowship from CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, or BINC, or have qualified the JGEEBILS exam conducted by NCBS/TIFR in December 2024. The upper age limit is 28 years as of March 1, 2026, with relaxations available for SC/ST, Women, PWD, and OBC candidates as per Government of India regulations.
