PhD and postdoctoral opportunities are available in the Sinha Research Group at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, working in inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and photochemistry.

The group focuses on the design of first-row transition-metal photocatalysts, N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and arylisocyanide ligands, and the development of new photoactive organometallic complexes for photocatalysis, light-induced energy transfer, and electron transfer catalysis. Characterization methods mentioned include NMR, mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, UV-Vis and luminescence spectroscopy, transient absorption spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and spectro-electrochemistry.
