About this position
NextSeer Careers is sharing open research positions in Greece at The American College of Greece, including opportunities in the Smart Wireless Future Technologies (SWiFT) Research Lab and the ACG Research Center.
The post highlights 2 postdoctoral and 1 pre-doctoral/doctoral research openings in areas related to 6G wireless technologies, wireless networks, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), sensor/data fusion, vehicular systems, liquid antennas, electromagnetic signal processing, programmable metasurfaces, and beamforming.
Doctoral Candidate (ISLANDS): The ACG Research Center is seeking one Doctoral Candidate to join the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network Integrated Sensing and Communications for Future Vehicular Systems: A Network of Doctoral Students (ISLANDS). The project focuses on sensor data fusion techniques for automotive applications, distributed sensing, simulation-based and analytical modelling, synthetic data generation, and spectrum-sharing frameworks for future vehicular systems. The candidate will enroll for a PhD degree in one of the project’s academic partners and may undertake secondments at Nokia (Stuttgart, Germany) and the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
Postdoctoral Researcher in Liquid Antennas and Electromagnetic Signal Processing for 6G: This role is part of the Horizon Europe MULTIPLY-6G project under the 6G SNS program. The research targets advanced antenna architectures, ultra-massive arrays, programmable passive metasurfaces, liquid antenna integration, low-complexity and energy-efficient beamforming, channel estimation, precoding, and experimental evaluation for next-generation wireless networks.
The SWiFT Lab at ACG is based on the main campus in Aghia Paraskevi, Athens, Greece, and works across communication system design, signal processing, optimization, wireless channel modelling, spectrum sensing and sharing, positioning, interference management, cooperative communications, resource allocation, and related emerging areas.
Funding: The positions are linked to EU-funded grants. No stipend amount, salary, or tuition details are provided in the post.
How to apply: Open the linked job pages and follow the instructions for the specific role. Review the eligibility criteria and submit your application through the relevant ACG-RC posting. Apply soon, as the post explicitly encourages early applications.
