Professor Natasa Przulj is recruiting PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to join her lab at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi. The lab focuses on cutting-edge research in Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Network Science, and Precision Medicine, with opportunities to work on high-impact projects such as the Human Phenotype Project and Emirati Genome Project. MBZUAI is recognized as a top-10 global university in relevant fields, offering outstanding faculty, resources, and a collaborative research environment.

PhD candidates should have an MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline. Postdoctoral applicants require a PhD in similar fields. All applicants must demonstrate strong expertise in data science, bioinformatics, network science, AI, machine learning, deep learning, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, C, C++, Matlab, and scripting languages. Additional skills in algorithms, data analysis, graph/network theory, scientific computing, statistics, and medical informatics are highly valued. Candidates should have excellent English communication skills, a record of publications (for postdocs), and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
