Several PhD and postdoctoral positions are available in the lab of Yawei Li, who will join the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in 2026. The lab’s research focuses on AI efficiency across the full stack, integrating both hardware design and software/algorithm innovation. Key research areas include IC design and EDA, with emphasis on open-source processor and AI accelerator architectures based on RISC-V, EDA methodologies for optimizing power, performance, and area (PPA), and next-generation hardware systems such as 3D integration.
