KU Leuven’s Land Surface Remote Sensing, Modeling and Data Assimilation group (Prof. Gabriëlle De Lannoy) is recruiting for two research opportunities within the AQUACROP-EU project funded by FWO: a PhD researcher and a postdoctoral researcher.

The research sits at the intersection of crop modeling, satellite remote sensing, and data assimilation. The PhD/postdoc work will involve optical and microwave satellite data, AquaCrop crop modeling at field and continental scales, data assimilation in NASA’s Land Information System (LIS), and operational yield forecasting across Europe.
