We are offering a fully-funded PhD fellowship to explore how AI, Mathematical Optimization, and Game Theory can be used to make modern electricity markets more efficient: saving energy costs and greenhouse emissions while keeping the lights on.

You will be putting science to the direct benefit of society, all while joining a stimulating, international, and friendly environment at the DTU Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in Copenhagen, Denmark. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to undertake an extended research stay at EPFL, Switzerland, alongside Dr. Maryam Kamgarpour.

- Mathematical Optimization / Operations Research
- Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning, and/or Multi-agent systems
- Game Theory

in addition to solid programming skills (namely Python, Julia) and an excellent command of the English language.
