The Darwin Trust PhD studentship is fully funded, covering student stipend, tuition fees, and consumable support for four years. Only non-UK nationals are eligible.

Requirements
Applicants must have received their first university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent, or Master's degree) less than five years before the application closing date. Candidates must self-identify as being from a Black heritage background (including mixed backgrounds with Black African, Black Caribbean, or other Black backgrounds) and be resident on the continent of Africa at the time of application. A full CV and personal statement are required. Ambitious candidates with interest in cardiovascular and regenerative medicine, and skills in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, omics, or bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.
