About this position

PhD opportunity in Radiochemistry and Coordination Chemistry at Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), Brest, France, within CEMCA (UMR 6521 CNRS-UBO).

The project is titled Innovative Copper Chelators for Radiopharmaceutical Applications in Oncology and focuses on the design of innovative macrocyclic copper chelators, selective purification of copper radioisotopes (64Cu / 67Cu), development of radiotracers for PET imaging and targeted therapy, coordination chemistry, radiochemistry, radiolabeling, and tuning biodistribution via tetrazolate-functionalized ligands.

Supervisor: Dr. Thibault Troadec (CR CNRS, HDR), Université de Bretagne Occidentale. Research group: COSM, axis “Azamacrocycles and coordination” (Pr. R. Tripier).

Candidate profile: Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; strong background in organic synthesis and/or coordination chemistry; interest in radiochemistry and nuclear medicine applications; motivated, rigorous, and enthusiastic about interdisciplinary research.
