PhD in Spatial Perception and Navigation in Built Environments at KTH KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden

KTH Royal Institute of Technology is advertising a PhD position in Spatial Perception and Navigation in Built Environments within the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, Division for Surveying, and the Group of Navigation and Perception.

The project sits at the intersection of spatial AI, navigation, sensor fusion, optimal estimation, machine learning, geodesy, and geoinformatics. The research aims to develop trustworthy positioning and environmental perception methods for complex built environments, including indoor spaces, urban areas, and underground settings, with a focus on mobile devices and resource-constrained systems.

Supervision is proposed by Milan Horemuz and Jingbin Liu.
