School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi is inviting applications for regular PhD positions in Urban Planning under the supervision of Prafulla Parlewar, Head and Professor, Department of Urban Planning.

The research theme highlighted in the post is artificial intelligence (AI) applied to urban planning, with opportunities for collaborative research in Japan or the USA. The announcement also mentions that qualified candidates may be considered for a joint research program in Japan, and if selected for joint research, the candidate may reside in Japan for up to 3 years.

Eligibility: a master's degree in any planning field or a master's degree in architecture. If the master's degree is not in planning or architecture, the candidate must have at least 10 years of experience after the master's qualification.
