About this position
PhD opportunity at the University of Cambridge in vaccines and immunisation. The successful student will work with Professor Caroline Trotter on a project to quantify the lives saved by childhood immunisation in England and to develop frameworks for integrated decision-making about vaccines. The research combines infectious disease epidemiology, mathematical modelling of vaccine-preventable diseases, and health economics. The student will also develop and execute a plan for public involvement and engagement.
Funding: home fees are covered, plus a tax-free maintenance stipend starting at £20,199 per year for three years. Research costs are also supported. This is therefore aimed at UK/home students.
