About this position

PhD opportunity in Aquaculture Nutrition and Fish Physiology at Deakin University, in collaboration with CSIRO and Feedworks through the CSIRO Industry PhD (iPhD) Program.

The project is focused on the nutritional modulation of energy metabolism in Atlantic salmon. The research will examine how targeted dietary strategies and feed additives can influence energy utilisation, fish performance, and production efficiency in salmon aquaculture.

The opportunity includes admission into Deakin University’s PhD program, a four-year scholarship package, project and professional development funding, a three-month industry internship with Feedworks, and joint supervision across university and industry partners.
