PhD opportunity in Isotope Geochemistry and Geochronology at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. The project is hosted within the Timescales of Mineral Systems Group and offers access to world-class analytical facilities, including SIMS and LA-ICP-MS, plus hands-on training in advanced geochemical and geochronological techniques.

Research focus: isotope geochemistry, geochronology, crustal evolution, petrology, and field-based studies across diverse geological terranes in Australia. The role includes opportunities to present at national and international conferences and to work in a dynamic, international, and supportive research environment.

Funding: tax-free PhD stipend plus project funds, with tuition fee offset support. The scholarship includes a living stipend of AUD 38,440 per year pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to 3.5 years. Tuition fee offset support is available for a successful international candidate.

Eligibility: applicants should hold a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Strong interest in geochemistry, geochronology, and/or crustal evolution is expected. Independent research ability, strong science communication skills, and teamwork are important; prior experience with geochemical analysis, geochronology, fieldwork, and petrology is desirable.
