The Biointerfaces Laboratory at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) in St. Gallen, Switzerland, is offering a PhD position focused on the development of engineered antimicrobial hydrogels. The project also seeks to identify and elucidate the modes of action for bacterial killing and repelling, providing fundamental insights into bacteria-material interactions and contributing to the creation of next-generation antimicrobial materials with clinical relevance.
