PhD Position in Cancer Biology: IRE1 Signaling and UFMylation at University of Rennes University of Rennes in France

PhD position available in cancer biology at the University of Rennes, within the Oncogenesis Stress Signaling Laboratory (INSERM U1242) and the PROSAC team (Proteostasis and Cancer).

The project focuses on the interconnections between IRE1 signaling and UFMylation in cancer. The successful candidate will join a research environment centered on oncogenesis and stress signaling, with opportunities to design and perform experiments, analyze and communicate data, stay current with the literature, and participate actively in the scientific life of the team and research unit.

Supervision is by Dr. Elodie Lafont and Dr. Eric Chevet. The post is based in Rennes, France, at INSERM / University of Rennes.

Eligibility highlights include a Master 2 degree in cancer biology, cell biology, or molecular biology, along with strong technical skills in protein biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology.
