About this position

The Department of Economic Law at KU Leuven is offering a full-time PhD position focused on the Consumer Competition Market (CCM) and European economic law. The CCM group is dedicated to education and research in areas such as internal market, competition law, and consumer law, with a strong emphasis on comparative economic law. The successful candidate will conduct research in one or more CCM research areas and provide limited educational support at both the Leuven and Brussels campuses.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Master in law or an equivalent degree, who possess a good to excellent academic record and demonstrate a strong interest in CCM research topics or comparative economic law. Proficiency in Dutch is essential, and knowledge of French and/or English is also required. The position is designed for those who can integrate into the existing research group and are committed to completing a PhD within four years.

KU Leuven offers a full-time employment contract for at least one year, with renewals possible up to a maximum of four years.
