About this position

The Eindhoven University of Technology invites applications for a PhD position within the SecReSy4You MSCA Doctoral Network, focusing on the security and resilience of cyber-physical systems. This position (DC3) is hosted by the Dynamics and Control section in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is part of a prestigious European Union-wide network funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe.

The successful candidate will develop advanced control algorithms to enhance the security and resilience of cyber-physical systems, with a strong emphasis on mathematical systems and control theory. The research will address challenges at the intersection of hybrid dynamical systems, control engineering, and cyber security, contributing to the next generation of secure and robust networked control systems.

Applicants should possess a master’s degree (or equivalent) in systems and control, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or applied mathematics. A solid background in mathematical systems and control theory is essential, along with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Matlab or Python.
