PhD Position in Inclusive Neuroimaging, Brain Aging, and Alzheimer's Disease at University of Lausanne University of Lausanne in Switzerland

The Diverse Brains Project at the University of Lausanne (Unisanté) is seeking a PhD student to join its Health and Gender Unit for research on inclusive neuroimaging, brain aging, and Alzheimer's disease. Funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF Ambizione grant, the project addresses critical gaps in neuroimaging by including underrepresented populations worldwide. Research will focus on how sex/gender, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and geography shape brain health across the lifespan, using innovative portable MRI technology and large international datasets.

The successful candidate will draft research protocols, collect and analyze MRI data (including a research stay at University College London), and publish scientific articles. Applicants should have a Master's degree in neuroscience, psychology, computational science, medicine, biology, or related fields, with experience in MRI or brain imaging, programming (Python, R, MATLAB), and data analysis.

The position offers a dynamic, international research environment, collaboration with leading partners at University College London and Queen Mary University of London, and access to advanced resources.
