The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) is inviting applications for a PhD position under the Wipro WIN Research Fellowship. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in advancing research in Sim2Real and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) Foundation Models for robot control and factory coordination. The position is supervised by Professor Abhijit Das, a researcher in machine learning and computer vision, based in Hyderabad, India. The Wipro WIN Research Fellowship offers a competitive stipend of INR 37,000 per month plus 27% HRA, with an increase after two years. The fellowship also includes domestic and international travel support and contingency funds for project-related work.
