Politecnico di Milano is excited to announce a new PhD position focused on "Decarbonizing Humanitarian Operations: Energy/Material Modelling and Product (Re)Design for Reduced Environmental Impact". This opportunity is part of a partnership with the World Food Programme and the UNHRD Innovation Lab. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in design engineering, materials science, or sustainability engineering. Ideal candidates should be familiar with engineering design methods, life cycle assessment (LCA), and product or systems design.
