The project focuses on multi-timescale, learning-enabled autonomous greenhouse platforms that combine physics-informed models, plant-centered sensing, adaptive and reinforcement-learning-based control, digital twins, and vision-guided robotic interaction to improve crop growth, resource efficiency, and economic performance.

Ideal applicants should have a strong background in computational science, especially control and machine learning. Prior exposure to plant sciences is desirable. Preference is given to candidates who already hold an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and have research experience in learning-based control and/or precision agriculture.
