PhD Positions in Electrochemistry, Catalyst Synthesis, and Fuel Cells at UNSW University of New South Wales in Australia

Join the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales as a PhD student under the supervision of Quentin Meyer and Prof Chuan Zhao. The research focuses on designing and synthesizing next-generation catalysts for fuel cells, electrolyzers, and CO2 reduction, with integration into electrochemical cells. The position is ideal for candidates with a background in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, and a strong interest in electrochemistry and catalyst synthesis.

Applicants must have prior experience in electrochemistry and catalyst synthesis. Having at least two first-author publications in relevant areas is highly valued. The research is part of the NanoElectrochemistry Group and is connected to the ARC Training Centre for The Global Hydrogen Economy, with links to the Hydrogen Society of Australia and the International Association for Hydrogen Energy.
