We are an international and diverse team of scientists working on the nucleocytoplasmic transport machinery and proteins of the inner nuclear membrane. In this project, we will address adenoviral genome import, together with our long-term collaborator, Dr. Harald Wodrich from the University of Bordeaux, France (see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34757845/ and https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32161167/ for recent publications (or search for Wodrich and Kehlenbach in PubMed)). The position (salary according to TV-L) is funded for (initially) three years.We use a wide range of techniques, including super-resolution microscopy and advanced proteomics.
