• Regional Research Visitor Week (week of September 28 or week of October 26, 2026) — deadline July 30, 2026; suitable for urban, housing, and applied microeconomics.

Eligibility: U.S.-based Ph.D. candidates at the dissertation stage, with research ready to present. The program also considers applicants from adjacent fields when their work is relevant to economics, including public policy, finance, statistics and data science, and computer science.

Funding: PFMAP covers travel up to $300 and provides two nights of hotel accommodation.

How to apply: email a vita and a draft research paper to [email protected] by the relevant deadline. If your travel costs exceed the reimbursement cap, include a statement acknowledging that you will seek outside funds for the excess amount.
