We have an open position in my photonics group at DTU! We have an ambition: To create a new state-of-the-art technology solution that enables researchers and companies to develop stronger, longer lasting and more eco-friendly coatings of everything from ships to houses.This solution is based on terahertz (THz) lightwaves. Using THz, you can look through virtually any coating, many at a time, and get information about their composition, physical properties and efficiency. This information is vital all along the coating value chain.Companies know this, and academia knows this. This is why we are now making large strides forwards and offering a full 3-year PhD scholarship for a bright mind who would like to join us on our journey and make key contributions to the future of coatings. - We are looking for a self-driven, curious individual with a MSc degree from any STEM field. - We are looking for an individual who likes to tackle applied mathematics using code, to investigate spectroscopic data.- We are looking for an individual who is strongly motivated by making progress in science by using new technology.Is this you?
