About this position

Great PhD opportunity!
I have a fully funded PhD position available for October 2025 combining ultrafast THz and X-ray science with energy materials (particularly batteries). There is lots of scope to develop the work in different directions to suit different interests/expertise! UK and international student applications are welcomed.

The project is in collaboration with James Lloyd-Hughes in the University of Warwick Department of Physics and Chris Milne at European XFEL , with room for travel (for those interested in that) + some unique experiments and world class facilities.

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
